Overview

Technology Services EMEA & Oceania is looking for an IT Program Manager to lead  the technical implementation of our Shipping Services Transformation Program. Shipping Transformation is a Business and Digital Transformation program that aims to implement new ways of working with technology as a key enabler to success. You must enjoy working in a very fast paced intense project and will be responsible E2E for the entire technical implementation. You will lead a technical team that is currently assigned to the program. This will include resources in both Europe & Asia.

This role will report to the VP of Technology Services EMEA & Oceania.

Main responsibilities and tasks:

• Setting IT project goals along with the PI and Sprint Planning
• Maintaining project timeframes, budgeting estimates and status reports for technical deliveries
• Working closely with the Business Program Manager as a partner in delivering the transformation to the organization
• Act as an advisor in the core team on IT execution ability
• Ensuring solution documentation is delivered in the various functions
• Coordinating project team members and developing schedules and individual responsibilities
• Implementing IT strategies that deliver projects on schedule and within budget
• Using project management tools to track project performance and schedule adherence
• Conducting risk assessments
• Organizing meetings to discuss project goals and progress
• Ensure System Integration Testing, data migration are planned and coordinated effectively
• E2E ownership of technical delivery including decommissioning of legacy systems

Job Requirements

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Engineering or Business Management, or 5+ years experience from Project Management, ITIL Programs, or IT Consulting
• PMP Certification advantageous
• Experience in Leading a large IT program or Transformation program a must
• Understanding of technical resource planning according to sprint plans
• Ability to manage and support multiple scrum teams, and working closely with senior scrum masters
• Understanding of Software Development processes, lean Agile and Scrum Frameworks
• Strong Business Accumen and ability to communicate to C-suite
• Ability to present technical scope to non technical people, and clearly communicate delays to the program sponsors
• Ability to perform under a high pressure environment
