Innovation Lead in the “Digital Accelerator” Team in Wallenius Wilhelmsen

“Digital Accelerator” (DA) team is providing a platform for Business Units and external tech ecosystem, to accelerate technologies and business models rapidly, from ideation to solution, with a 3 step playbook of Incubation-Socialization-Operationalization

There is a need for a Innovatioin Lead to lead-facilitate-execute, from ideation to solution, initiatives that can be in diverse areas such as Mixed Reality, Computer vision and IoT, Robotics and automation, AI powered Products, Logistics functions, Platforms and marketplaces.

You will work with an ecosystem of frontier technology partners and other innovative tech startups to co-create innovative solutions with our global network of internal business units.

You will drive an agile and entrepreneurial culture of rapid prototyping, pilots, MVPs resulting in on-going learning, go/no-go decision making, and progressive financial and operational success.

Required Experience, skills and personal attributes:

• A Degree (preferable science/computer science related) or relevant experience in software Products
• Professional experience in Tech Project and/or Product mgmt.
• Software delivery experience including implementation, adoption and roll-out.
• Hands-on experience in software development/configuration and testing, is an advantage.
• Exposure and curiosity for tech driven business models and venture partnerships
• Exposure and curiosity to tech such as AI/ML, Mixed Reality, Computer Vision, Robotics and Automation.
• Experience of running/managing projects is an advantage, especially working with Agile methodology.
• Strong communication and social skills as the right candidate will need to work with several different stakeholders, be able to influence several people and drive initiatives.
